Dr. Erella knew that he wanted to be a doctor from a very early age. He would frequently get sick as a child in India and would have to receive shots from his family doctor, which was not always an enjoyable experience. Dr. Erella vowed that he would one day become the best doctor that he could be. He still visits this doctor from time to time when he returns to India, his native country.
Dr. Erella entered medical school in India, enrolling in Rangaraya Medical College. Rangaraya is an esteemed medical college that believes in scientific excellence, compassion, and maintaining friendly patient relationships- all qualities that Dr. Erella embodies in his own practice.
After completing extensive medical training in India and Jamaica, Dr. Erella relocated to the United States. It was here where he trained in various residency and fellowship programs in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Body Contouring, and Facial Aesthetic Surgery. He attended some of the top Universities in the country, including the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, NV, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL.
Dr. Erella has been a practicing board-certified plastic surgeon since 2006 and has since gained a wealth of knowledge as a professional. He maintains board-certification in plastic surgery.
“I enjoy seeing patients and their results after their procedures. Their happiness radiates from a better self-esteem and more confidence in themselves, and that is very fulfilling to me.”

Eluru, a small town in Southern India.
I was born and raised in India and attended Rangaraya Medical College, located in Kakinada, India. I consistently placed within the top five of my medical class. Soon, I was selected to PGIMER, a prestigious institute in India and in Asia for Surgery training. I finished my training here and went to Jamaica, where I worked as a senior fellow in Surgery at Cornwall Regional Hospital for nearly three years. Afterward, I moved to the U.S. and had to re-start surgery training as my previous training experience was not recognized. I graduated from St. Joseph Hospital, Northwestern University, Chicago in Surgery and became board certified. I was then selected for a Plastic Surgery residency at Wayne State University, Detroit. After graduating from Wayne State University, I was chosen for an advanced aesthetic fellowship of Breast, Body, and Face at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, under Dr. Louis Vasconez. I became board certified in plastic surgery and also worked as a faculty member here and taught plastic surgery residents.
I specialize in cosmetic surgeries, including breast, body, and face procedures. I also specialize in Smart liposuction and Post weight loss plastic surgeries like 360 Body Lifts, Tummy tuck surgeries.
My philosophy is to treat my clients like my own family members by giving importance to their safety and results. I personally see them every time they come in for a follow-up appointment and vow to be supportive of them until they recover from their procedure.
During my surgery rotation, I worked in plastic surgery as a part of my training. I was attracted to the different procedures performed along with their outcomes and how happy the clients were after their procedures.
To see my clients’ boosted self-esteem and happiness after their procedures.
I always see my patients during their consultations and listen to their needs. After examining them and giving them my honest opinion, I inform them what can and cannot be achieved. Finally, I explain different options to them and tailor the procedure to their unique body.
During my first day of rotation in Plastic surgery, I worked with a burn patient who required breast cancer reconstruction, hand surgery, facial fracture, and a cosmetic tummy tuck. These different procedures in the same field impressed me, and that lead me to become a Plastic Surgeon.
Quiet but confident and skillful.
I looked up greatly to my teachers while growing up since I was the first to go to school in my family. My teachers in the U.S., Dr. Fildes, Dr. Connolly, Dr. Balakrishnan, and Dr. Vasconez, really helped to develop my skills and encouraged me to pursue the difficult path of my career.
I treat them like my own family members. I will see them for all their visits, and I give the utmost importance to their safety and natural results.
