Hand Rejuvenation

At Aspira Plastic Surgery’s medical spa, we offer a full range of treatment options that can be performed to address a variety of issues you may be experiencing with your hands. Laser skin resurfacing or Intense Pulse Light therapy can often be beneficial for improving the appearance of age spots, sunspots, birthmarks, and other discoloration conditions. These treatments use a laser and light energy to improve the skin and diminish these discoloring effects. They can also be utilized to bring out healthier skin cells and reduce signs of wrinkles for a smoother, more refreshed look to the skin.

Each patient’s results will vary, but for many there is little to no downtime associated with laser and light therapy treatments, and the effects typically look very natural.

Other effective treatment options for hand rejuvenation are the use of cosmetic dermal fillers such as Radiesse® or fat injections. Radiesse® is typically performed along areas of the face to reduce signs of wrinkles and fine lines or to add volume to facial features. However, it has also shown to be very effective at plumping up the skin in the hands and reducing the prominent appearance of bones and veins. Radiesse® also allows for the growth of new collagen in the treated areas, helping the results to last a very long time. With Radiesse® treatments, the skin of the hands can look smooth, healthy, and youthful for up to two years, and the effects can be maintained with follow-up treatments.
